Many of the ideas presented in this lesson are good background information for a teacher of English to have, however, when teaching beginning students I don't know how helpful they would be. I like the idea of only incorporating pronunciation work when necessary based on common student errors that effect comprehension. I can understand that it is important to teach students to stress words differently in sentences in order to ask questions or express anger or surprise, but I think modeling and repetition with role playing may be more effective than board charts depending on age and level of the students.
