Unit 6 covered the past tenses. I actually found these to be more difficult then the present tenses. We learned that there is a bit of a pattern with the verb tenses,for example : if the verb "to be" is in the present it will be the present continuous.If the verb "to be" is in the past it will be past continuous.We can now apply those patterns to to the future tense as well .The most important thing to remember about past tenses is that they relate to past "time"periods.Additionally, we were given several helpful sample "activate" teaching ideas throughout the unit.I think the most difficult for new learners of English would be the past perfect continuous. I say this because I think it represents those longer actions in the past that have been going on continuously up to the past moment that we are thinking about.I think this can be a very abstract concept to get across.
