This was the hardest unit I've done so far. It is quite amazing how as a native speaker, I take for granted phonetics and phonology. It was quite interesting learning about the phonetic alphabet, articulation and the manner of articulation. I can know tell the difference between voiced and unvoiced consonants which have to do with whether or not there's a vibration in the throat when the sound is being made.
