Unit 11 focused on the receptive skills, reading and listening, and reminded us the problems that can arise when teaching reading and listening and how to avoid them. What I learned from this unit was that I must be careful when selecting the topics and activities for my lessons so they will always be appropriate for the language level of my students and on the same time remain interesting so they will be motivated to participate in class.
