This unit covered the importance of teaching pronunciation and methods to do so. It also covered phonetics and how to use IPA to help teach pronunciation. Personally, I believe in using face diagrams for teaching particularly difficult sounds in English, such as the English r. It can be easier to understand that the English r is spoken with the tip of the tongue curled back when seen in a diagram.
