This unit covered a large variety of grammar topics. Modals I found the easiest as I tend to deal with them often in my own speech, especially to clarify various degrees of certainty. Passive voice was also relatively easy, though I hadn't considered that passive in different tenses would be an important topic to cover for ESL students. It was a good reminder not to take that knowledge for granted. I really enjoyed the section on relative clauses. I hadn't considered the importance of how commas can affect a readers understanding of a relative clause. Phrasal verbs was perhaps the hardest section, especially the transitive separable verbs. I hadn't considered them before, and seeing how they operate differently with pronouns versus object nouns was interesting.
