In unit 16 we became more familiar with conditionals and direct/indirect speech. There exist five conditionals (zero, first, second, third and mixed), each conditional with its own situation, in which it can be used. What I have noticed in those years of my teaching career, is that while the zero, first and second conditionals are quite easy for students to understand, the remaining two not so much. In my opinion they mostly struggle with distinguishing the time-conditional relation.
The rest of the unit was dedicated to reported speech, in which we learnt how to change tenses, when changing direct speech into indirect one.
