In this unit I have learnt that grammar and vocabulary should be appropriate to the age and English speaking level of the student. When teaching both they should be relevant, appropriate, where possible known and usable to the students after studying the relevant structures to use the grammar and vocabulary. The choice of delivery and structure of the class i.e. straight line, boomerang or patchwork, should in most cases be flexible so that the best learning outcomes can be reached by the students.
