In this unit, I learned about different pieces of advice given for when teaching a new class (either an existing group or a new group). I also learned about how to structure a first lesson with students, including ways to get to know them and how to build rapport with the students. Lastly, I learned about how to deal with a larger class, and techniques that can be used to make the lesson run more smoothly.
