This unit talks on how to teach a new language. There are things that students need to do with new language: be exposed to it, understand its meaning, understand how it's constructed, and be able to practice and produce it. Also, the two main key for an excellent use of new language to know the following: grammar which is the trunk and branches of a language, vocabulary which serves at the leaves that add beauty and variety. Moving forward, this unit focused on educating me on how to teach vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures, and teaching language functions. The ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) structure is the most common and effective technique for teaching these. I have learned on how to handle the class using ESA.
