This unit I believe linked very well to Unit 1. I believe this because it highlighted many different ways and styles to teach students, through creative activities to "activate" their learning, as well as more structured and honed in methods such as studying and connecting grammar. I believe this will be extremely useful to me as a teacher because I will be able to assess my student's learning styles, and cater my lessons to them. Having a healthy balance and mix of all these methods should allow for a well-rounded lesson, and the opportunity to keep them engaged. My goal as a teacher is to incorporate a cumulative teaching style as well, to make sure that each lesson before the new one is reviewed and utilized, allowing the students to build on what they have learned. I really enjoyed the different teaching methods in this unit, and I am excited to be able to use them in my lesson planning to make for a well thought-out and structured class.
