In my own experiences, learning the vocabulary of a language was always the hardest and most important part of a language, because that is where students begin to build up on the language they are learning. The ability to use the language starts when they start learning new words so ensuring the ESA lessons for teaching vocabulary are not only informative and useful, but fun and engaging is highly important. I believe it important to teach vocabulary in between different language function lessons so students have a base for future lessons. I think it would be interesting to ask students for words that they want to learn, and incorporate those words into the lessons, this is my own activate and study lesson idea. I was very inspired by this unit! It makes me excited to teach in the future.
