I found this particular unit to be a bit precarious. Although it does state at the beginning that there is a broad range of attitudes among educators regarding the use of textbooks or other prepared materials, there does seem to be a push toward particular series of lesson providers, when in fact it has been my experience that there is a broad range of material available, using an equally broad range of methods, and most educators do not seem to prefer any one particular system.
