Unit 16 on Conditionals and Reported Speech consists of a discussion of conditional sentences (those composed of a condition and a consequence) and reported speech (as opposed to actual or direct speech). From this unit, I learned the five types of conditionals and the different forms and usage for each type. I also learned the changes in the tenses when reporting direct speech. This unit also includes suggested activities for teaching conditionals and reported speech, which I think would be greatly helpful in my preparation of future lesson plans.
