In this unit i learnt the essence of assessing a student's language level as well as the ways in which a teacher can do so.There are three ways to assess a student's language level and these are through tutorials,evaluation by the students and through tests.Tutorials takes place with a group of students reviewing the work done assessing whether there could be a problem and making progress to solving them.Also there can be evaluation done by the students and this can be in the form of discussions.In addition test are essential in that the teacher becomes able to see what the students can and cannot do.
