Reading and listening are critical importance when teaching and both are equally important. The key is to pick topics that interest the students so that they are more likely to read it closely. We also need to make sure that the material is at there level so that it isn't too high or too low. If its too high the student could get frustrated and if its too low the student could get bored. It's important that we teach the students the different specialist skills over time in order to get the most out of a lesson. Students also need to be explained why a listening or reading activity is important and the instructions need to be clearly laid out. That is where a clear ESA lesson plan would come in handy.
