This unit dwells on Equipment and Teaching Aids. It looks closely at some basic rule for using the board.The teacher should always endevour to write clearly and neatly on the board. Also, when highlighting specific language on the board, the teacher should either underline, use colour, or circle the language area. I was also able to understand the importance of using visual aids in the classroom. Visual aids can be used to elicit language and prompt discussion in class. It can also be used to engage students in the lesson, and can often show the meaning more effectively than a spoken explanation will do in class.
