The unit covers receptive skills, why and how we use them. It contains some general advice about how to choose text and audio materials, and topics for lessons. The part I find the most important is to choose materials in a way to support student's interests, because those lessons are the most effective. I like to use comprehension tasks in my work, as I work with young learners and my goal is not only teach them language, but also give them skills which they are not possess yet. Comprehension tasks are good for that.
