I this unit I learned about the different kinds of teaching techniques with the main focus on the (ESA) Engage, Study and Activate methods. This lesson teaches how to elicit information from the students to get them involved in the lesson as much as possible. This will increase the students' talk time and reduce the teachers'. This can be done by asking thought provoking questions or using pictures etc. ESA can be done in different order and all three should be used. I understand error and mistake are not the same and I should not over correct the students. Give the students more praise than correction or equally the same.
