I think this lesson made clear all of my misconceptions in terms of the usage of modal auxiliary verbs. I learned about the different modals such as: can, could, may, might, shall, should, will, would, must, have to, have got to, need to, needn’t and ought to. It’s also cleared that these modals are used to express different ideas like ability, advice, deduction, obligation, offer, permission, possibility / probability, prohibition, promise and even prediction.
Lessons on active and passive voice also provided a good review of the topic.
I think it would be interesting also to have further and more elaborate lesson on phrasal verbs.
