This unit is about teaching pronunciation and phonology. It describes how the intonation of a sentence, or the stress of it's words, can change the meaning. It also describes the phonemic alphabet and how it is used to unify pronunciation. Additionally the unit talks about articulation, which I believe would be somewhat helpful for new teachers. However the depth and detail of the information provided on articulation seems a bit overwhelming, and may be better suited to those pursuing a more advanced teaching degree.
