Unit 12 is based on teaching productive skills.The two productive skills are; speaking and writing.The writing skill as i discovered, happens to be the most difficult area in the English language.This is because teachers often leave out this par for students to do at home. I have learn a variety of techniques a teacher should use to make the atmosphere comfortable, where students can speak without being afraid of making mistakes. These techniques are; pair work, group work,plenty of controlled and guided practice before fluency activities,changing classroom dynamics and so on. Speaking activities in the classroom include; drilling,prompting, model dialogues,guided role play, discussion, debates and so on.
