Unit 18 on Modals, Phrasal Verbs, and Passive Voice provided a thorough overview of the three topics it covers. It explained the usages, forms, and types of modals, phrasal verbs, and sentences written in the passive voice; as well as provided clear examples for each type discussed. Most helpful for me was the table listing modals and their appropriate usage. It was good to be reminded of both the obvious and subtle differences between each time. Now I can be more mindful when using them. Another important thing that I learned from this unit are the three types of phrasal verbs. The clear differentiation of the three cleared some of my confusion. I can be more confident to use them now.
