This unit is a reflection on how careful teachers should be when choosing materials for the class, whether they are course books or any other supplementary material. The advantages of using a course book in the classroom is that the teacher can have a syllabus to base on and students expect to use a book; while the disadvantages are that teachers can get rather lazy because they already have the material ready in the book. That is why teachers should learn to balance the amount of time they use a book and the created material so the class will not get boring and monotone.
