Unit Twelve was about Teaching Productive Skills. The 2 productive skills in language are speaking and writing. Writing is the most neglected skill in TEFL; it is more difficult and needs more concentration than speaking and cannot be corrected on the spot. Speaking requires more fluency because there is no time to plan what the speaker will say...they just have to speak. Unit 12 gave ideas for accuracy and fluency based speaking activities and also gave ideas about games that would work in a productive English lesson.
