The teacher's position is very important and judging when one should be standing and monitoring, such as during language presentation, giving instructions, checking work in progress, or controlled practice, or sitting and allowing the students to interact together less supervised, like during reading activities or during the activate stage. Remember to turn your back o your students as little as possible by preparing board-work ahead of time, balance TTT (Teacher-Talk-Time) and STT (Student-Talk-Time), and give each student attention to maximize teaching effectiveness for the entire class.
