Receptive skill are listening and reading. We use different motivate and reasons of receptive skills, there are for a purpose and for entertainment or to enjoying. Doesn't depend of our reasons or motivates we using pre-existen knowledge when we are reading or listening. We should teach students to use this different knowledge in language. For example if they should read the text and give back the review of this text, they might don't know all the words and they don't need to know it they can just use the skimming skills to general understanding of the content. And we have to help the students to avoid some language difficult by pre-teaching difficult language and structure, words that are essential to understand. We also should careful choose the topic of the lesson, it should be motivate students and be really interesting to them.
