In this unit I have learned guidelines into creating a lesson plan. I've learned that lesson plans should not be rigid and inflexible but should have structure to aid the teacher to getting to his learner and personal objectives (less experienced teChers are often helped by more structure). I've learned the importance of timing in the lesson plans and preparation and checking of my materials to ensure a smooth lesson flow. I've also learned that keeping an eye out for the discrepancy between the idea of how the lesson should go and how it actually does, can bring improvement to my teaching methods. Unbiased self evaluation is the key to this.
