From this unit, I learned that age gap plays a big role on the intake of students. Adult students can comprehend the material faster, but younger students will retain the information far better than that of older students. Specific guidance are required to know in order to manage a class. Try not to discourage students with let downs, raise your voice or get personal with their issue. As a teacher, one must understand that everybody has their own hardship that can cause them to act a specific way in class. There are situations in which beyond a teacher control. Teachers must informed the school about student's personal problem, so the school can help the students address the issue. A one on one is effective when a teacher wants to help a student out focusing on his or her weakness. It's mainly use to narrow down on what the students might need help in and more activities can be administered when it is only a student and teacher. Different group of students will present different issues to the teacher, and as educators, teachers must be prepared for any situation that might arise in their course. A good role model is what a teacher must be and knowing how to manage a class will help the teacher and students succeed in reaching their goals.
