Lesson 20 discussed different methods and ideas for resolving issues with specific groups and building rapport. First lessons are very important for building rapport with the students and finding the level of knowledge a group of students have. We discussed different activities appropriate for the first class, for warm up activities at the beginning of classes and how to work with students of mixed levels. Students using their native language was also discussed and particular students that could be problematic. Methods to help participation and minimize class disruption were discussed. Over all this lesson was relatively easy and presented topics that could assist when common issues arise in the class.
