I learn that lesson plans have a number of important functions such as writing down what I expect the student to achieve, a working document to help you keep on target, and a record of what was completed in the class. Most if not all lesson plans have the Engage, Study and Activate methods. As taught in Unit 3 all three stages are important. A lesson plan should have a learner objective, what the students should be able to do at the end of the lesson and a personal aim of what I want to achieve i.e how I can improve in my classes.
