This unit covers the importance of pronunciation and phonetics. I learned this unit was the most neglected part when teaching the English language. Although, I think that learning this course will enable students to speak better and more fluent English. Intonation and placing stresses in the correct word might be more confusing between cultures. Linked speech is also something covered that I never thought about until going through this unit, and it reminds me of how often it is used while speaking English. This unit also goes through phonetic speech and comes prepared with a chart to learn from and diagrams of how they are pronounced from the mouth, which makes it easier and interesting to learn.
