In unit 6, I learned about past tenses. They are very similar to present tenses, although of course refer only to a different time. The four tenses are: Past simple, past continuous, past perfect, and past perfect continuous. Past simple and past perfect refer to an action that has been fully completed, and past continuous and past perfect continuous refer to actions that happened before the past time, and probably continued after. There are many fun activities to use during the activate stage of a lesson, such as story telling or role play that help the students to understand, as well.
