Unit 7 is about the language function, vocabulary and grammar. The important thing about this unit is that the teacher must teach a good balance of the three segments as they are considered to be the tree trunk and branches (grammar) and leaves adding the beauty and variety (functions and vocabulary). Learning a language includes four things the students need to do: 1. Be exposed to it - 2. Understand its meaning - 3. Understand how it's constructed - 4. Be able to practice and produce it. The greater the understanding all around the language, the better the learning.
