The topic of this unit shows two kinds of teaching ways which have presented by video. I have noticed how a teacher could influence the students to be more interested and interactive in the class in this lesson. Also, I have learned that depends on how the teacher should behave in front of their students, how they use their voice and words, and how they manage the flow of the class lesson, shall affect the class environment that could result to the poor participation of the students. Example of this is the rude attitude of the teacher that makes the students anxious and confuse causes to lose their confidence to participate in the lesson as has been shown in the first video. On the contrary, the teacher on the second video gives enthusiasm to the students by smiling at them, introducing himself and knowing the students’ names that I believe makes the students feel comfortable. Consequently, gain confidence and participate in the lesson. Furthermore, having seen the video in this chapter, I have been given a chance to analyze and learn a distinctive way of teaching, visually without actual training. Now, I think I am one step advance to becoming a better teacher compared before.
