This unit details the different types of teaching practices and exposes pros and cons for each and identifies which techniques work best for possible student levels. It is also interesting to break down the teaching techniques in order to understand the end game for each technique. I can see where teachers must make a conscious effort not to jump in and fix all of the errors throughout the lesson; although correcting errors is important, the most significant fact for ESL teachers to remember is that the student L2 interaction and dialog is of the greatest importance. It is very interesting how practical learning the L2 language can be, and all it takes is some time and creativity. I love the idea of using games to to enforce new L2 habits, fundamentals, and pronounciation.
