Unit Fifteen was about Evaluation and Testing. Before a student is assigned a class or level, they should take a placement test. Once in the class, the teacher should give a diagnostic test to measure the students' knowledge. To monitor the students' retention of information, teachers should at least give overt feedback, if not progress tests frequently. Once in a while, achievement tests could be used to motivate students. If the students are preparing for external exams, practice tests are helpful.
