Unit 12 also has its challenges just like Unit 11 (Receptive Skills). I agree that the writing skill is not really been given that great emphasis and importance unlike the other skills. But writing is equally important. It is also good to note that the Unit also discussed about "games" and how it is an effective tool to encourage the students to ease up a bit in class and socialize more. Overall, I've learned a lot on how an ESA strategy works in creating vocabulary for students.
