After reading unit 3, I have learned a lot of new information. Firstly, I learned about all the methodologies that are used in teaching English as a foreign language. Some of them I never knew about such as "the silent way" and "suggestopaedia", so it was interesting learning about them. I felt this unit had a lot of important and useful information that I would use in my job as an English teacher. Particularly, the ESA methodology was a very important topic that I learned about as it is the most useful method of teaching for new teachers who don't have much experience in teaching. Because, I will be a new teacher, I was glad I could learn about these techniques that I can use when I start teaching. I also really liked how this unit gave many examples of what to do in each stage of ESA. For example, drawing something on the board and having students guess what it is is a great way to engage the students so they're interested and ready for the lesson. Overall, I felt this unit had a lot of important information to share for anyone trying to become an English teacher, and I learned a lot from it.
