After reading unit 9, I learned a lot about lesson planning. A lesson plan can act as a good guide to keep a teacher on track especially if the teacher is rather new and inexperienced, but the teacher should still be flexible and be able to adapt according to the needs of the class. I also didn't think that a lesson plan can be used as a record. This can be useful in many ways such as helping another teacher with who plans to teach the same lesson or using it to teach the lesson again in the future. It was really nice to be able to see an example of a lesson plan, and now I have more confidence in being able to plan for a future lesson. In conclusion, I now feel as though I can create my own lesson plan in the future.
