This unit was useful in helping me compare past, present and future tenses. I was able to review all 3 units on tense and categorize in my mind expressions and sentence structures that indicate subtle differences and define tense. These now seem more obvious i.e looking for "indicators" that sense the tense eg. 'to be' in the present and the future expression 'going to' followed by a base verb defines future perfect continuous tense. Another general rule for F.P.Cont is the use of the adverbial expression 'by' at the beginning of a sentence. Eg. 'By the end of summer I will have finished training' (action complete - perfect) compared with future cont 'By the end of summer I will have been training for'(..action still in progress in future).
