Thanks for this thoughtful and comprehensive unit regarding the usage of course books and class materials. This unit not only reminds us the available teaching materials, but also provides the advantage and disadvantage of each type of materials. It also frees us from the constrain of the course books, which is usually the case where teachers experience when there is only one type of textbook is available. Authentic materials and created materials are great ideas and thank you for mentioning this, as I sometimes double myself if these kinds of material should be given to the students along with the official worksheets to increase the students' interests and motivations in English learning.
