This last and final unit, Unit 20, discussed the common obstacles teachers encounter and struggle with in the classroom and solutions for dealing with them. This is a chapter I'll be keeping on hand after completing my certification as it analyzed some issues that had been in my mind throughout the course like how to handle a first lesson and what ways can be used to motivate a shy, reluctant student. The unit also highlighted the importance of developing listening skills and using English in the classroom as opposed to the students' native language. Engage phase activities were reviewed in the form of "warmers". These were methods of getting to know students better and letting them get to know their teacher. Unit 20 lastly touched on techniques for effectively teaching classes with a large number of students and classes with varying levels of English.
