This lesson discusses the differences and usages of modal verbs, phrasal verbs, and passive voice. Modal verbs are added to the main verb to suggest different ideas. Some are used to expressed request, politeness, possibility, permission, and obligation.
Passive voice is used when the doer of the action is not known nor important to the sentence.
Phrasal verbs are verbs with one or two particles and function as one.
