Course materials is an important topic to discuss because teachers will work with a variety of materials for a diverse student base across their careers. Whether that be books, videos, news articles or photographs, these sources provide a higher level of communication with your students to get course material across just a little easier. Students may respond well to audio or comprehend a vocabulary lesson better with visual aids. Materials and aids in the classroom can be helpful but it should be kept in mind to censor materials based on appropriacy of the students. Creating your own resources can be good but using provided books or worksheets is a great template to work from or a guide to work with for inexperienced teachers.
