This unit was about evaluation and testing. I learned that their are many types of tests and each is designed with a specific goal in mind. While there is no right or wrong way of testing your students it is always good to have some balance. The main goal of testing students is to learn if they have grasped the topics taught and to know their strong and weak points. Evaluation of lessons and tasks can also be done by students. This will provide the teacher with information from individual students. By evaluating the data gained from tests the teacher can decide what areas of their teaching styles can be improved and take necessary actions to improve or correct the students progress.
