In this unit I learned about modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. First, modals are used to adding meaning to the main verb. Modals are used in cases such as obligation, request, ability, and advice to name a few. Pharsal verbs include a verb plus as participle, there are two types include intransitive(not followed by a direct object.) and transitive (pronoun inserted between verb and particle.) Lastly, I learned about passive voices. Active voices the subject is the agent, while in a passive voice the agent is much less important.
