I first learned about different methods of teaching, although each method could be used in a teaching setting there are more methods that are favorable than others. Overall students should be a low stress environment, have a desire to learn, and be exposed to the language as much as possible. In addition to the different styles of teaching a method called ESA - engage, study, activate should be the primary process in which a study is conducted. Lastly I learned various ways to accomplish each ESA stage through classroom examples.
