In this unit, I learnt about the past tenses, examples of the tenses, usages and some teaching ideas of the tenses. There is the Past Simple tense, which is used to express completed action in the past. For Example I worked last night at the stadium. There is also the Past Continuous Tense which signifies that action was done in the past at a particular time. I also learnt about the Past Perfect Tense which is use to relate past actions that are already done in the past. It is also use to describe one past action that was done before the other started. Finally the Past Perfect Continuous Tense, this tense is use for continuing action in the past upon until another action in the past. For Example, Kim had been cooking for 3 hours before we left the house.
