It was truly amazing to see the difference that a smile could make! In the first lesson, if I were a student, I would feel extremely uncomfortable, pressured, frustrated, and insecure, which is not a good learning environment. In the first lesson the teacher seemed impatient, frustrated, and impatient. He did not smile, didn't use hand gestures, did not come prepared with examples, spoke too quickly, didn't learn their names, and kept saying "this is easy", which made students reluctant to participate and probably feel bad about themselves. When I first began watching the first lesson, I thought that the content was way over the students heads and it was beyond their level, so I thought that's part of why they weren't getting it, so it was so good to see the difference in the second lesson, and it's all about the teacher and how they make it easy and enjoyable for the students to learn. Watching the second lesson made me really excited and looking forward to teaching.
